Abstract :
Systematic reviews are the type of evidence synthesis that dentists should use when they practice evidence-based decision-making. The aim of this workshop is to equip participants with tools for using systematic reviews to inform their practice. The 1-day workshop is composed of interactive lectures, small group activities, and discussion. Through the use of examples relevant to dentistry, participants will apply the main concepts.

- To understand the role of systematic reviews in evidence-based decision-making
- To be familiar with the characteristics that makes a systematic review trustworthy
- To be familiar with how to use the results from systematic reviews to inform practice
