The Tanzania Dental Association delivered a nationwide oral health awareness campaign across mainland Tanzania, bringing education, counselling, screenings and treatment into health facilities, maternity clinics, schools, special needs centres, prisons, workplaces and public spaces. More than 318,000 people received face-to-face oral health education, over 56,000 underwent screenings and more than 3,400 received treatment. The campaign culminated in the national World Oral Health Day celebration in the Manyara Region, bringing together government leaders, healthcare professionals, educators, students and communities. 

The Turkish Dental Association took A Happy Mouth is… A Happy Life nationwide through a multi-channel campaign combining digital communications, media relations, outdoor advertising and community activities. The campaign generated more than 2.5 million social media views across over 95 digital accounts, complemented by extensive media coverage, school visits, educational events and public awareness activities across Türkiye. 

Through its Smiles Without Borders campaign, Arrow Dental Center joined forces with the Ministry of Health and partners across 23 counties in Kenya to deliver oral health education, preventive care, advocacy and inclusive community outreach. More than 900,000 people were reached directly, while the flagship Kibera Mega Dental Camp alone served over 60,000 people and mobilized more than 550 healthcare personnel from across the country. 

The Hermosillo Dental Student Association brought together prevention, education, professional development and community outreach, reaching 962 participants through schools, academic events and other initiatives. Highlights included the launch of a school-based prevention programme, interactive oral health education for children and a seven-day international volunteering programme that welcomed dental students from Portugal and Tunisia for academic training and community service.
