The inaugural year of this campaign emphasizes the important connections between oral health and overall health, encapsulated in the powerful tagline, “A Happy Mouth is… a Happy Body.”

Furthermore, the report highlights FDI’s robust advocacy efforts to ensure that oral health is recognized as a critical issue in international health discussions. Another significant achievement is the International Dental Journal's rise to a top quartile ranking among prestigious publications in the fields of dentistry, oral surgery, and medicine. This recognition underscores FDI's commitment to fostering high-quality research in dentistry and oral health.

In addition, as part of FDI’s projects comprehensive resources have been developed for oral health professionals, aimed at supporting their work and enhancing the quality of care they provide.

FDI proudly celebrates the success of its World Dental Congress, which took place in Istanbul, Türkiye, in September 2024. This year's edition featured the largest Young Dentists Forum to date, providing an invaluable platform for emerging dental professionals to engage, network, and share ideas.
