Abstract :
The long-term success of dental implants depends on both surgical precision and meticulous restorative planning. This session will explore key restorative factors that enhance implant longevity, patient satisfaction, and clinical predictability. Topics include prosthetic design, material selection, connection types, and strategies to minimize complications. Emphasis will be placed on evidence-based protocols to optimize esthetics, function, and biomechanical stability while preventing peri-implant diseases. By incorporating these restorative principles into daily practice, clinicians can improve long-term outcomes, reduce complications, and enhance patient satisfaction with implant-supported restorations, ultimately achieving predictable and durable clinical success.
Learning objectives :
- Understand key restorative factors: identify critical considerations in prosthetic design
- Minimize complications: recognize prosthetic challenges and adopt preventing measures to reduce peri-implant disease and mechanical failure
- Improve clinical predictability: integrate restorative guidelines into daily practice to ensure predictable outcomes
