Abstract:

Digital technologies in everywhere for today’s modern dentistry. Digital technology has given dental professionals the ability to diagnose and treatment plan our patients more accurately and efficiently. Digital workflow can improve communication within your treatment team to accomplish the most predictable clinical results while reducing chair time, resulting in increased efficiency and profitability.
The greatest risk to the embracement of digital technology is associated with the selection of the wrong technology. This lecture contains the effective use of 3D imaging systems, digital intra oral scanners and 3D printers with correct workflows. Also Advantages and disadvantages of the different materials used for CAD/CAM processing will be discussed.
