Regional CE Programme
Regional Continuing Education Programme
Professional development through continuing education is a vital component of the dental profession. Ongoing learning not only strengthens clinical competence but also upholds the principles of modern, evidence-based dental practice. In an era of rapid scientific and technological advancement, it is essential for dentists to maintain current knowledge in both the theoretical foundations and the practical applications of the art and science of dentistry.
In support of this commitment, FDI’s Education Committee organizes a diverse range of continuing education events each year. These activities are tailored to different geographical regions and are designed to meet the evolving needs of dental professionals worldwide. Collectively, they form the Regional Continuing Education Programme, which is outlined below.
Advance your skills. Learn worldwide.
Through hands-on workshops and interactive courses, participants gain practical skills, evidence-based knowledge, and insights into the latest advancements in the field. Whether you are a student, early-career dentist, or practitioner, these high-quality learning experiences are designed to enhance your clinical expertise and support professional growth. Join thousands of your peers in advancing your skills, expanding your knowledge, and shaping the future of dentistry.

The regional Continuing Education (CE) Programme was launched in 2014 and has consistently expanded ever since. Designed for qualified dental practitioners, the programme spans five key regions: Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. Over the years, it has fostered strong and ongoing collaboration with partner National Dental Associations (NDAs), ensuring continuity, regional relevance, and a sustained commitment to advancing dental education worldwide.
