Spotlight on ADA’s annual meeting in Atlanta; Host for FDI World Dental Congress in 2019
The American Dental Association (ADA) will return to Atlanta, Georgia, 19-23 October for ADA 2017 – America’s Dental Meeting®.
Participants at ADA 2017 are encouraged to advance their skills at one of the many hands-on continuing education courses offered. A variety of topics can be explored in depth during small and informal group Campfire Sessions or through special interest track offerings, such as dental sleep medicine, dental specialty series, and health and wellness.
New this year, the Women in Dentistry Leadership Series features three accomplished women who will share the tools needed to succeed both at home and in the office. All sessions will be followed by a book signing.
The New Dentist Conference, which is designed for dentists out of school for less than 10 years, will also be held at the ADA annual meeting in Atlanta. This customized experience offers a specialized education track, a variety of networking events, and three popular keynote speakers who have given TEDx talks or have spoken at the TED conference.
The ADA 2017 Opening General Session will have dental professionals step on stage to share their personal stories of how they became a dentist and how the profession has allowed them to make an impact on their practice, families and community. Those attending are guaranteed to leave with a renewed passion for their career and the inspiration to love what they do every day.
Ranked among Lonely Planet’s top 10 places in the USA to travel to in 2017, Atlanta offers a rich history and a whole host of activities to enjoy pre- and post-meeting.
