Join the Caries Prevention Partnership webinar on 15 June
A Caries Prevention Partnership webinar will be hosted on Wednesday 15 June at 20h00 EST. The theme focuses on ‘Management of caries as a dynamic disease process’, with speaker Domenick T. Zero, Director of the Oral Health Research Institute and Professor at Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Participants will learn how:
- The theoretical understanding of the caries process can be applied to their clinical practice.
- Caries risk assessment can assist in the diagnosis and management of early carious lesions.
- To identify the best approaches for preventing, arresting or reversing early caries development based on available evidence.
Other objectives for participants include describing how fluoride works in modifying the dynamic nature of caries and how to optimize fluoride use based on patient-caries risk. Together with identifying the changes in their practice necessary to provide evidence-based care to prevent dental caries.
The webinar will be an hour in length; a 40-45 minute presentation followed by 15-20 minutes of live Q&A.
