Dr Yolande Koffi Gnagne
Dr Koffi is from Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. She earned her degree in dental surgery from the University of Bordeaux II School of Dentistry in France, where she also completed a doctoral degree in oral biology and dental public health. Dr Koffi was also a Fulbright Scholar at the UCLA School of Dentistry in Los Angeles, USA.
Dr Koffi is currently the dean of the Dental School of Abidjan, Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny, where she also serves as an associate professor. She was the vice president of the National Dental Association in Côte d’Ivoire from 1998-2014. During this time, she organized dental continuing education seminars, workshops and conferences with several African National Dental Associations.
Dr Simon Ho Kam Yuen
Dr Ho is from Hong Kong. He earned his master’s degree in periodontology from the University of Hong Kong and is a fellow at the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong, and the International College of Dentists, in addition to working as a private practice periodontist.
Dr Ho has lectured in Hong Kong and abroad. He is an examiner at the College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong, as well as a faculty member and part-time clinical lecturer for undergraduates and postgraduate students at the University of Hong Kong. Dr Ho serves on the education committees in various institutions and has extensive experience organizing Continuing Education Programmes and workshops.
Dr Hande Sar Sancakli
Received DDS degree in 2000, Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry and finished PhD in 2007 with the doctorate thesis entitled “Comparison of antibacterial effects of dentin bonding agents in vitro.”. Continuing the academic career in the same university gained Assoc. Professorship degree in 2012. With the academic collaboration with Prof. Dr. David Bartlett, worked as a Visiting Lecturer in King’s College Dental Institute, Guy’s Hospital. Beside having scientific publications in internationally/nationally indexed journals, book chapters, lectured in various international conferences, seminars and performed hands-on courses in restorative dentistry about adhesive dentistry, minimal invasive dentistry and restorative materials. Memberships in international scientific associations; Member of the Board of Istanbul University, Member of Turkish Dental Association International Affairs Committee, Member of FDI Education Committee and Chairperson of ERO/FDI Working Group Continuing Medical Education.
Dr Mauricio Montero
Dr Montero is from San José, Costa Rica. He earned his degree in dentistry from the University of Costa Rica and a post-doctoral master’s degree in clinical and translational research from the University of Puerto Rico. Since 2004, Dr Montero has been a faculty member in the endodontics undergraduate program and the prosthodontics postgraduate program at the University of Costa Rica. He contributes as an editorial committee member for local scientific journals and has his own private practice.
Prof. Mounir Doumit
Prof. Doumit is from Beirut, Lebanon. Formerly the dean, and currently a professor, at the Lebanese University Dental School, Prof. Doumit is also a specialist in Dental Public Health and consults on oral health initiatives with the Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon. He has been an expert on oral health for the World Health Organization since 1994 and lectures abroad. Prof. Doumit was the first vice-president of CID-CDF (Conférence internationale des doyens des facultés dentaires d’expression française) and is the current president of the National Commission for Oral Health for the Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon.
