The feasibility of many Laser applications in endodontic therapy has greatly improved due to development of newer delivery systems resulting in an ever-increasing number of Laser wave lengths. This allowed the Laser technology to be applied to the following endodontic procedures: pulpal diagnosis, treatment of dentinal hypersensitivity, vital pulp therapy, access cavity, disinfection or cleaning of the root canal, and endodontic surgery.

Broad research and exploration has positively affected dental Laser application, which offers a lot of capabilities across all regulations in dentistry. A closer look to the most recent literature with various thoughts and ideas of research towards a better and expanded future of dental Laser will be discussed.
