AEEDEC, Dubai: FDI promotes its congress, consolidates partnerships
FDI representatives spent three highly productive days from 4 to 6 February at the 18th UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC), held at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
They joined forces with two representatives from the Indian Dental Association, present in Dubai to publicize the FDI World Annual Dental Congress (New Delhi, 11 to 14 September). Visitors to the FDI booth manifested great interest in the congress scientific programme of renowned international speakers.
AEEDC also proved to be an ideal venue for selling booth space in New Delhi. Initial responses were very encouraging and a number of confirmations are expected in coming weeks.
FDI also seized the opportunity to develop and consolidate relations with corporate partners, many of whose products were on display. We would particularly like to extend our thanks for the warm welcome that greeted FDI representatives on corporate partners’ booths.
N°1 in the Middle East
AEEDC organizers say the event is now second only to Cologne’s International Dental Show in world rankings. It is already by far the biggest dental show in the Middle East, with an estimated 30,000 participants and visitors this year and exhibition space totalling over 12,000 square metres.
Moreover, according to Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman of AEEDC Dubai and The Global Scientific Dental Alliance, “the business deals sealed during the three days of AEEDC Dubai recorded USD 2,484,000,000 this year.”
FDI will undoubtedly be present at the next AEDEC, to be held in Dubai from 17 to 19 February 2015 under the theme ‘Delivering Science & Technology’.
