Global periodontal health: Challenges, priorities and perspectives
The implementation of the Global Periodontal Health Project was set in motion in 2017 to prioritize periodontal health at a national level through health promotion and disease prevention, and to integrate oral and periodontal health into policies addressing noncommunicable diseases (NCDs). This World Oral Health Forum took place during the World Dental Congress in Madrid, taking an in-depth look at the issue of periodontal disease.
