One of the biennial highlights on the Australian dental calendar is the Australian Dental Association’s Australian Dental Congress, which takes place this year in beautiful Adelaide, South Australia, from Wednesday 1 May to Saturday 4 May.
Adelaide is a city full of quirky, fascinating festivals, amazing food and wine and just beyond its reaches, lush parklands and an impressive amount of history. Grab a bite to eat and a drink in the city’s amazingly diverse bar and restaurant scene centred on Leigh and Peel Streets or take in a delicious array of award-winning innovative food at a selection of breathtakingly-cool restaurants.
Want to range further afield? Just outside the city all kinds of treats lying in store in nearby areas such as Barossa, McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills.
Congress itself features top-notch speakers from Australia and around the world, an exhaustive scientific program, a who’s who of the dental industry at the Exhibition and countless opportunities for networking.
Add in spectacular social events like the vibrantly-relaxed Welcome Reception, and Congress Late Night, featuring a gloriously-evocative performance of Moulin Rouge-style cabaret (for which Adelaide is famous) and you have an event that is a must-attend for dental professionals everywhere.
